Quebec, Day 2
Today we went in search
of the unexpected and to see the unseen...
A delightful journey of discovery:
Quebec is a beautiful City with many bicycle trails.
Today we rode to the Orleans Island.
In the map it looks like a small island, but under the bicycle's wheels it is a large and very hilly island.
We stopped on the road
and bought strawberries, plums and marmalade....
We found a convenient place for an emergency stop:
I took some pictures there:
Afterwards we found more flowers:
On the way back we saw in the distance the Montmorency falls:
On the way back to mainland we walked the bicycle's up the bridge and rode down the bridge:
We had a nice view of the Montmorency falls from the bridge:
We rode to the falls and were amazed by the view:
And there were flowers too and other lovely scenes:
A seagull came to say farewell as we returned to Quebec City and went to the supermarket to buy groceries and soup and Mackerels and other goodies for tonight's dinner.
I share with you today's story and after a restoring sleep we are ready for tomorrow's story walking in the historic Quebec.
I will be delighted in reading your stories too.
